Winners to be announced this week
Efforts by NHS organisations across the country to futureproof and reduce the environmental impact of services are being recognised with the announcement of the shortlist for the 2017 NHS Sustainability Awards.
The awards were established to encourage, benchmark, and reward action on creating a more-sustainable NHS.
And the judges have now chosen their finalists, who will go through to the next stage of the competition.
The winners will be announced at an awards ceremony on Wednesday.
